Stop thinking Lou as "caving in"- You should know as well as I do that there are compromises to be made in all situations.

Exactly right fighterDC. And the illegal aliens use their children for every available free service and benefit, and to claim a reason to avoid deportation. They also use their anchor babies' social security numbers to secure credit, jobs, etc. legally, in an illegal way. Name your child after yourself, and you have a social security number and a key to the benefits.

We certainly need to push for a clarification on Birthright Citizenship, and stop allowing citizenship to illegal alien children born in the United States.

Well....for sure Lou is running for office and like all politicians.....he won't call a spade a spade for fear he'll lose a vote. What a shame since he just lost my vote.

Thanks God I knew this before sending my money to support him as politician. He changed his mind suddenly, may be he is looking for a position at CBS (Telemundo Network's owners), NBC, ABC, etc.

Interesting catch buzzm1. I couldn't decide whether he was being disingenuous or authentic in his conciliatory gesture, but only Lou Dobbs knows how he interprets that declaration.

Consider this hypothetical. If a first responder has to amputate your leg to get you out of a burning car, is he your friend or your enemy while he's doing the cutting? And later, when the car explodes???

I was disturbed by the comment legalize immigration under certain circumstances. I would like to know why he said that though. As much as I hate illegal immigration everything happens for a reason and they have been allowed to flood over the border and set up a huge support network and launch the reconquista movement right in front of our faces.

The opening made me mad because I'm sick right now probably because of illegal immigrants/Hispanics they pack the buses and stores here in S. Cal and there always coughing and sick in public, especially their children.

The comment about legalizing immigration under certain circumstances made me upset, but truthfully between the ignorance, selfishness and sympathy of the illegal supporters, and our demands it stop at once and they leave, I really haven't seen constructive dialog on the issue that they wouldn't be here unless our country as a whole allowed it to happen.

Absolutely they need to leave,
absolutely they cause economic damage, crimes, spread diseases, ruin the schools, drive down wages and drive up housing costs etc. etc. But what are we going to do about the fact that collectively we allowed them to flood across out border and many U.S. citizens, employers, the government welcomed them here attracted them here and provided special privileges and benefits for them.

Perhaps Lou Dobbs was trying to open that door and the whole show was devoted to side issues and B.S. that wasted time instead of allowing him to present his case.

On supporting him for President my primary emphasis is rebuilding our country and providing a stable economic platform as the core philosophy for trading and foreign relations, addressing the issue of illegal immigration through the perspective of economic conditions is far more important that just plain opposing illegal immigration, it's not a standalone issue, economic and social factors are feeding and supporting it.

The corporate crooks and traitor politicians that looted our country and sent our jobs and assets overseas obviously want the cheap labor pool, chaos, renters and workers instead of home and business owners, they have imported socialism and encouraged Illegals to breed like rabbits collapsing our economy and social structure.

It's all about the golden rule he with the gold rules, either we the people of the U.S. control the economy or the government and corporate crooks do.
